ABSTRACT
A market survey conducted by the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE) produced a detailed list of proposals to ease the U.S. dependence on foreign energy sources. AEE, a non-profit organization, developed proposals based on responses obtained from a survey of its more than 9000 members. Other survey topics include identification of market trends, income and salary data, and a comprehensive survey of electric, gas, and energy services programs. 95.5% of respondents indicate that a national energy policy should identify new energy supplies from a multitude of sources and promote energy efficiency. 81.6% indicate that the national energy plan should encourage investment in new power generation and new transmission lines.
