ABSTRACT
The article discusses the public health issue on Vitamin D deficiency due to the resurgence of rickets among British children. Topics include a report from Britain's Vitamin D Mission saying that 77% of parents are unaware of their child's daily Vitamin D requirement, the important functions of Vitamin D within the body such as keeping bones and teeth healthy, and the symptoms and effects of Vitamin D deficiency.
