ABSTRACT
The article looks at various taxation developments all over California. Topics discussed include California Governor Jerry Brown approved the Assembly Bill 154 to enable the compliance of the California Revenue & Tax Code to the Internal Revenue Code, the process of the California Board of Equalization in monitoring use-tax obligations on untaxed high value items that were delivered into the state, and the role of the Executive and Advocate Services in managing taxpayer cases.
