The article explores the influence of the liberalisation of the European transport market on the provision of public services and public infrastructure as of January 2015. Topics discussed include laws governing funding public services and public infrastructure in transport sector of the country, tradition of public transport in Europe, and approach of the U.S. towards the enforcement of liberal principles.
