The article discusses the relevance of real-time information on government-related programs over the filing of annual reports from government agencies. Topics discussed include the non-real time filing of information as the fundamental problem of annual reports thus making it a poor management tool, instant feedback from the Internet of Things technology, and the utilization of dashboards as an alternative to annual reports.
