ABSTRACT
The article discusses the author's insights on the impact of global recession on investors. The weak euro, low oil price and easy monetary policy in Europe are resulting in falling unemployment and a lift in many of the peripheral economies. The Japanese government has reduced its gross domestic product forecast for the year. Because of the market turmoil, investors are questioning whether unconventional central bank policy will deliver sustainable economic growth.
