ABSTRACT
This section contains a topically arranged compilation, of poll results released by various institutes. Some of the institutes are American Institute of Public Opinion, Fortune and the British Institute of Public Opinion. The questions recorded in the article cover the period from September through November 1943. The polls basically cover domestic issues, issues on the war and also the post war prospects. One such issue was political one related to the Republican Presidential nomination. Here a list of Republican candidates was given to the voters and was asked that which one of these men would they prefer as the Republican candidate for the President next year. Wide regions were covered under the poll like Middle Atlantic, East Central, Pacific Coast etc. Same was asked for the Presidential candidate for the Democratic party. Most prominent of the other questions was, leaving the candidates aside, if the Presidential election were being held today, which party would the voters prefer to vote.
