The article focuses on experiences in the functioning of the educational institute, Gymnasium-Institution of Higher Learning, which functions in a unified system of education. It states that by implementing the unified system of instruction and upbringing, the institute is more completely in keeping with the requirements of the concept of continuous education. In addition to meeting state standards, the educational process in the gymnasium includes the study of the art and culture of Russia and the world, the intensive study of English and a second foreign language, and also a precollegiate profile training in economic and juridical specialties in the upper grades.
