ABSTRACT
Networking is a long-term process for building relationships and can help people in career development. Networking builds new contacts and can help in identifying new job opportunities. A secure network can provide guidance, support and linkages which can come handy in identifying new job opportunities .A study carried out indicated that a large majority of health care executives found their new positions through networking. In other industries, 61% identified their new positions through networking of colleagues and friends.
