ABSTRACT
The author argues needs for the U.S. Congress to approve the legislation reinstating the military draft in the United States. After the event of September 11, 2001 in the U.S., recruitment in the U.S. armed forces remained low. But looking at the Iraq war 2003, an increase in young people participation in the armed forces is very important. A draft would upgrade the quality of the U.S. recruitment and military power. The author suggests needs to review the wages in military services to solve the problem.
