ABSTRACT
The article discusses growth of Rexam PLC as the leading Great Britain packaging company. It is in the top five global packaging groups and is the world leader beverage cans production. It reported pre-tax profit of eighty million pound sterling for the six months ended June 30, 2004, 14% ahead of the first half of 2003. Rexam is benefiting from a combination of acquisitions, price increases, volume and mix improvements, as well as ongoing cost efficiencies and synergies.
