ABSTRACT
Recently a new reactor neutrino neutrino experiment has been proposed to improve the CHOOZ bound on θ13 by one order of magnitude. Here I discuss the potential of this kind of experiments and compare it to the one of superbeams. Furthermore I will emphasize the complementarity of the two approaches. Specifically I will discuss the possible synergies for the discovery of leptonic CP violation. © 2004 American Institute of Physics
