ABSTRACT
This article reports that in a move to serve global markets better, Alcoa Inc. is adding four new global operating divisions for a total of six businesses, with leaders of each of group reporting to chairman and CEO Alain Belda. The new divisions will be the global primary business, global extruded products business, global mill products, and global rigid packaging. Two existing divisions remain intact. In addition to the aerospace, automotive and commercial transportation group and the packaging and consumer group, Alcoa hopes the move will help the continuing of expansion in global markets.
