ABSTRACT
This article presents the hunting experience of a group. Gord Ellis Sr., shown here with grandsons Devin and Austin with two bucks he took in mid-November near Emo, while hunting with Border Country Outfitters. He saw the bucks fighting about 150 yards away and shot one of them. down, the second deer started dragging it off. Realizing something was amiss, he shot that deer too. Gord Elllis Jr., fishing editor, who was party hunting with his dad, put his lag on the second deer. The bucks' horns were locked together so tightly that they could not be pried apart and both animals would have certainly died in the bush.
