ABSTRACT
This article presents a summary of activities of the General Assembly of the United Nations. Topics discussed during the 11th session of the General Assembly include: the report of the Committee on South West Africa stating that the committee had again extended to the government of the Union of South Africa the invitation it had sent in 1954 and 1955 to participate in the Committee's work, but the Union government refused; the report of the Committee on Information from Non-Self-Governing Territories; budget estimates for the financial year 1957; the second report of the Advisory Committee on Administrative and Budgetary Questions; and the United Nations Children's Fund financial report and accounts for the year ended December 31, 1955 and the report of the Board of Auditors.
