ABSTRACT
Shares the dilemma of a Reservist who also works for an oil refinery. Pay lost by the Reservist when he receives lesser pay during the weekends that he has to miss work at the refinery when he is scheduled to drill; Provision of the Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act of the United States which allows the employer to give the recruiter time off from work without pay; Claim of the Reservist that his recruiter told him that his drill pay would be in addition to, not instead of, his regular civilian pay.
