ABSTRACT
The article reports that Reigning Country Player of the Year Phil Stonham heads a strong Monaro team hoping to go all in the way in the Country Championships. Stonham, who switched from Queanbeyan Kangaroos to cross-town rivals United this season, will captain the divisional side that also includes halfback Justin Giteau, brother of ACT Brumbies star Matt. Stonham, the hard-running lock who toured New Zealand with Country last year, forms a potent back row with fellow Canberra stars Willie Scanlon and Damien Seears.
