This article covers information on the latest food products in the U.S. as of June 2005. New Kangaroo Omelet Sandwiches from Kangaroo Brands are handheld breakfast sandwiches. Each one is individually wrapped and contains a fully cooked omelet inside a no-fat, low-calorie Kangaroo pita bread. Wine and spirit company Moët Hennessy USA has launched 10 Cane Rum, a brand designed to bring luxury, style and innovation to the rum category. Pizza Dough RichLife Sheeted Pizza Dough from Rich's is a healthier crust alternative designated as Heart Healthy by the American Heart Association standards. The dough is low in saturated fat and cholesterol, contains zero trans fat and is a good source of fiber. New Gilroy Foods Controlled Moisture Fire-Roasted Grilled Vegetables from ConAgra Foods combine the popularity of fresh-roasted vegetables with the ease of quick-frozen. The vegetables are cut and cleaned, then pre-roasted, grilled and drained of excess water before freezing. Varieties include Anaheim Green Chilies, Roma Tomatoes, Red Onions, Corn and Carrots. Mini Dessert Fillo Shells from Athens Foods make it easy for operators to create desserts in little time. Made from light, flaky layers of fillo dough, the Shells are fully baked and fresh frozen. They are available in Traditional, Graham and Ghirardelli Chocolate varieties.
