ABSTRACT
This article discusses about the Cruickshank report, which was set up to review banking services in the Great Britain in November 1998 and whose final report was published on March 20, 2000 and it was led by Don Cruickshan. The report called for a culture change in the banking industry and government itself, and suggested there were profound competition problems and inefficiencies in payment systems. Since the publication of the report, Cruickshank has avoided speaking publicly on the implementation of its proposals.
