ABSTRACT
The article reports that travel management companies (TMCs) focus too much on airline bookings rather than accommodation, and so do not give clients the best deals. This is the result of a survey by Booking Services International, the hotel and meetings reservations group which believes that "catch-all" air-travel TMCs that see hotel spending as an add-on are obsolete, and that companies opting for a onestop shop are inadvertently increasing their travel costs.
