Reports on the decision of the American Marketing Association board of directors to consider the possibility of an expanded role in public policy for the association in 1978. Feasible courses of action being studied by the Public Policy and Issues Division for the association; Plan of the division to assemble an inventory of researchable public policy issues of professional interest to marketers; Action that can be taken by the association regarding policy dissemination.
