This article presents information on some recent socio-political developments from the U.S. It is informed that on October 11, the 20th anniversary of the unsolved murder of Alex Odeh, the Federal Bureau of Investigation once more announced its $1 million reward for the apprehension of people who booby-trap-bombed Odeh's Santa Ana, California office. Odeh was western regional director of the American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee when he was killed. It is also informed that professor M. Cherif Bassiouni of DePaul University's College of Law was keynote speaker at the ninth annual fund-raising banquet of the Southern California Council on American-Islamic Relations.
