ABSTRACT
This article reports that Great Britain-based general insurer RAC PLC is poised to expand into new product and motoring-services areas as it tries to settle into the Norwich Union family after acquisition by Norwich Union PLC. RAC is trying to build on its strength to grow its customer base by taking it into new, motoring-oriented markets, by taking advantage of Norwich Union's leading-edge technologies, such as telematics and Pay-As-You-Drive, and by recruiting talented, energetic individuals to its marketing teams.
