ABSTRACT
This article reports that the Ritz Hotel in London, England is planning to work with a direct marketing agency for the first time to promote its centenary. The prestigious hotel has shortlisted two undisclosed agencies and will make a decision in December 2005. The mailings will be sent to 50,000 clients, 40% of them abroad, promoting a Grand Gala Dinner Dance in the Ritz restaurant and a centennial celebratory rooms package.
