Bridge Language Gaps

The article presents some tips on bridging language gaps in a multicultural organization. Diversity in the workplace makes for a rich environment, but it can also leave room for miscommunication. Limit the number of topics at regular staff meetings to help workers learn how to process oral information. Always provide written directions as foreign-language speakers often can understand written English better than the spoken word.
