ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the Industrial Marketing Division of the American Marketing Association (AMA) in the U.S. It says that how industrial marketing fits into AMA reflects on its members, as it had 16,000 professional members, in which 19.1% were manufacturers of industrial products and 19.3% are marketing research services. The group held several conferences aimed at industrial marketing including "Marketing High-Technology Products in a Volatile Economy" which was held in San Diego, California.
