ABSTRACT
The article discusses the significance of recruitment companies for the supply-chain management in the company's effort to gain competitive advantage. It presents key questions that companies must consider should they decide to do their own search, selection and recruitment. It compares cost of recruiting in-house and what a recruitment can do to lower recruitment cost by 40%. It lists the hidden costs when a company fails to handle recruitment, including loss of productivity during a prolonged delay in the recruitment process. Good recruitment brings market goodwill and enhances the company's brand image and shareholder value.
