The article reports on the move of television networks American Broadcasting Co., ABC, and Fox Television Stations Inc. to acquire new comedy programs in the television broadcasting business in the U.S. The story of ABC's untitled laffer revolves around a man who disavows his fast-paced real estate agent lifestyle to become a better person. Meanwhile, Fox has won rights to a reworked take on scribe of Ricky Blitt's 2002 laffer pilot "Becoming Glenn."
