ABSTRACT
The article reports that the Illinois Appellate Court has ruled against real estate auctioneer Sheldon F. Good in his legal dispute with his former firm, Sheldon Good & Co., and son Steven L. Good, the firm's chairman and CEO. After selling his controlling stake to Steven Good in 2001, the elder Good filed a lawsuit in October 2002 that accused his son and the firm of a litany of transgressions, from denying him commissions to not showing him the "honor and respect" appropriate for a chairman emeritus.
