A Contradiction: The Utility of Professional Education Courses to Teaching

ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the assessment of certain aspects of teacher preparation programs in professional educational courses. According to a survey, there are two possible kinds of concern: (1) location of the assessment of perceptions and opinions; and (2) determination of the level of utility of education courses. A new measurement procedure that attempted to take into consideration the defects of previous surveys was developed for use in the study. Significantly, the findings of the study were in complete contradiction to previous studies concerned with the assessment of the utility of professional education courses.
