ABSTRACT
This article examines the impact of the proliferation of regional magazines on the market in Atlanta, Georgia. Regional magazines is the most likely to be a victim of its own success as the number of magazines serving the same market grow to ridiculous proportions. Atlanta may be the best example of a category gone out of control. Atlanta's appeal is understandable: it boasts strong economy, a booming housing market and a population that broke into the ranks of the 10 largest U.S. cities.
