ABSTRACT
The article discusses the study conducted to prove the claim that watching television causes kids to be fat. Results of the study indicates that, as sedentary behaviors decreased, it is accompanied by a decrease in energy intake and an increase in energy expenditure in non-overweight adolescents. Development of obesity can be prevented by reducing the amount of time involved in watching television.
