ABSTRACT
The article presents a resolution of the Assessment Amendment By-law 2005-1 enacted by the Chief and Council of the Osoyoos Indian Band Development Corp. on August 22, 2005 at Osoyoos Indian Reserve No.1, pursuant to 83(1) of the Indian Act. Subsection 1.(1) of this by-law repealed and replaced the definition of Assessment Act, Assessment Authority Act. It also includes major industry valuation, special valuation rules, etc. It is duly effective on September 28, 2005.
