ABSTRACT
The article reports on the contract dispute between teachers and school officials in Quincy, Massachusetts. The illegal strike had ended when the union and school officials agreed on a three-year contract. Mary F. Curtin, president of the Quincy Education Association, pointed out the salary increases as the major point of contention between the union and school teachers. According to Curtin teachers were demanding for 6 percent increase in 1985-1986.
