ABSTRACT
The article reports on the plan of Infineon Technologies AG to divide its logics business and memory business with an initial public offering for the memory unit effective May 1, 2006. By July 1, 2006, the plan would initiate as a wholly owned Infineon subsidiary with a flotation afterwards according to CEO Wolfgang Ziebart. Investment from the industry-focused capital market community will be encouraged by the business division.
