This article discusses mountain slopes to visit in the summer time when they are not being used for skiing in the winter. Wildflowers grow in place of snow along the mountainside trails of Fairmont's Chateau Whistler. A golf course is also located here that was designed by golf course architect Robert Trent Jones. Gucci, Prada, and other businesses are still open on South Galena Street in Aspen's alpine den. Kayaking and nature hikes are offered at Smugglers' Notch, Vermont, with condominiums available at reduced prices for the summer.
