The article discusses the objectives and standards that should be considered when preparing activity programs for the intermediate grades. It presents four significant objectives that teachers should follow when planning activity programs for their students. These objectives include the cultivation of scientific spirit, development of constructive individualism, integration of personality and growth in freedom. The author further elaborates that restrictive influences of earlier, narrower views of school purposes and functions should be avoided when developing conception of activity programs.
