ABSTRACT
The article discusses several aspects to consider when inaugurating activity programs in the intermediate grades. These aspects include the preparation of the teacher, period of acquaintance, plan of the year, preparation for work and carrying the work forward. Three steps needed in teacher's preparation which includes selection of understanding as well as the study of the students' background and their environment were also tackled. Moreover, the role of records in knowing whether the set objectives were attained was also stressed.
