ABSTRACT
The article reports on road grosses in New York from May 22-28, 2006 as the 11-show slate dropped 4.78 percent to total $11,120,321. The decrease was due in part to the loss of Chicago, which was on hiatus for the week. Theatrical shows topping the million-dollar mark included Wicked, The Lion King, Monty Python's Spamalot and Mamma Mia. Estimate grosses for the week are presented.
