ABSTRACT
The article presents three quotations spoken in June 2006. President George W. Bush makes a garbled statement when asked if the tide was turning in the Iraq War. Mike McNamara, a Marine in Iraq who was elected to the city council in Grand Forks, South Dakota, tells a reporter that he'll have to call him back as he was engaged in a military action. Gerald Darsch of the Pentagon says that "MRE" stands for "Meals Rejected by Everybody."
