ABSTRACT
This article reports that bioethicists, human rights workers, and scientists expressed alarm over plans of American companies No Lie MRI and Cephos to commercialize lie-detection technology that uses magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) brain scans. MRI promises to be more accurate than polygraph tests. Research reveals it is possible to determine changes in brain activity caused by deception.
