ABSTRACT
The article reports on the terror inflicted by the Israeli Occupation Forces in the Gaza Strip. On June 9, 2006, an Israeli gunboat's shell exploded at the beach in Beit Lahiya, Gaza where there were hundreds of the Palestinian families. Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas condemned the attack by stating the attacks as a war of extermination. Israel referred to the shelling was an accident. The Islamic Resistance Movement of Hamas refrained from retaliating for 16 months. The Palestinian organization Hamas feared that retaliation will result in accusation that the Hamas can neither govern nor live in peace. INSET: E-mail From Gaza.
