ABSTRACT
The article reports that the European Commission has announced legal special funding systems in Austria for combined heat and power, public district heating and renewable energy, after the Austrian government partly revised the operation of these subsidies. Austria will introduce a simpler levy from 2007 based on lump sums per meter and offer rebates for past imported green energy consumption.
