ABSTRACT
The article presents tips for avoiding the perils of microinequities, inadvertent dismissive and rude behavior to others manifested in facial expressions and body language. To avoid being left out, reach out to people on a personal level. When in the midst of a conversation, make a point of asking the other persons view. Stay involved in conversation by listening. If accused of committing microinequity, do not be defensive and remain open to criticism.
