ABSTRACT
The article reports on commercial zero-energy buildings. It mentions that the U.S. Department of Energy's Building Technologies Program has a goal of marketing commercial zero-energy buildings (ZEBs) by 2025. It also mentions that the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) evaluated low-energy commercial buildings to determine whether they can meet the zero energy goal. It also discusses the net zero source energy building that produces as much energy as it uses compared to the content at the source, net zero site energy building produces as much energy as it uses at the site, net zero energy cost buildings that uses renewable energy and energy efficiency as part of their business plans and others.
