The article reports on adapting the guidelines for sustainable architecture of the Olympic villages. It mentions that the Politecnico di Torino (Polytechnic University of Torino) developed a document regarding sustainable building entitled "Guidelines for Sustainability in Design, Construction and Operation of the Olympic Villages," that serves as a handbook for design competitions and proposals for the Olympic villages. The said guidelines were organized according to requirement classes including the use of the climatic resources, environmental loads, indoor environmental quality, environmental quality of the exterior spaces and others.
