CDO Volume Is on Record Pace

The article reports that the issuance of commercial real estate-backed collaterized debt obligation (CRE CDO) is on the fast pace leading to set a record in 2006, as revealed during the Commercial Mortgage Securities Association's U.S. CRE CDO conference held in New York. As reported, the issuance of CRE CDO as of September 2006 was at $23.89 billion. It was also revealed during the conference that Northstar Realty Finance did their first CDO in 2002, and their market has evolved since then.
