ABSTRACT
The article offers information on the annual celebration of the National School Library Day in Canada. In June 2003, then National Librarian Roch Carrier proclaimed the fourth Monday of October as the National School Library Day which aims to provide school libraries an opportunity to celebrate their programs and to stress the significance of these programs in children's education. This 2006, the event will be held on October 23 with the theme "Reading.Knowing.Doing." INSET: International School Library Day Themes.
