Life Term

Sullivan, Amy
November 2006
New Republic;11/13/2006, Vol. 235 Issue 20, p13
The article reports on the campaign of pro-life, Colorado Democratic gubernatorial candidate Bill Ritter. Ritter's pro-life views had stalled his political career before, so for the 2006 election, he planned to speak honestly about his beliefs. Ritter says that his Catholic faith leads him to believe abortion is wrong, but he will not seek to curtail it in law. He will prevent unwanted pregnancy as a means of preventing abortion.
