The objective of this paper is to propose a Web services oriented framework for e-Learning application domain aimed at providing a flexible integration model in which all the learning components and applications are well defined, effectively discovered and loosely connected. First, e-Learning systems architecture and e-Learning standards are introduced; then integration with Web services is discussed based on Service Oriented Architecture for e-Learning Web services oriented framework for LCMS and a functional model for e-Learning with Web services.
